"Alerts that you set on your remote device (not the one that Range is plugged into) will be triggered while the app is in the foreground only, to conserve bandwidth and battery life.”
So you are saying if I have a Range plugged in to a remote device, and I want to get alerts on the iPhone in my pocket.. I have to have the Range app in the foreground on the iPhone in my pocket or I will not receive an alert when whatever I am cooking is done?
Is that right? If so.. how is that even remotely useful?
